So soothing, except for the child in the basketball net. Note the Bertoia chair & the Yellow Eames chair...I do wish I'd had the foresight to collect chairs as a child.

Whoa, that was mesmorizing. 1958 was the year I was born and I don't remember our house ever being so sterile and quiet. It think this was the hope of what the new utiopia would be, not what it was. Interesting how much they hoped in gadgets, wasn't it? You can tell folks were really looking to atoms, chemicals, space travel to help the human condition. ~Michele
