New today; 'vintage Japan' cards

This spun cotton peacock is my #1 favorite 'vintage Japan' christmas item. I bought it several years ago & it has its own story. In order to best express my emotions about this bird, I've written a Haiku.

brisk morning thrifting

a peacock sans rationale;

he waited for me

Oh, I love the happy little land of the vintage Japans.
The peacock looks focused and kind.

PS Please put down a bulletin on Larkin's visit. We're praying for her.

Hi Michele! He is kind. Larkin's MRI was postponed until today because she had a temp. etc. It's at 4:45. So we'll see after that. They did say this is the sort of thing that is not usually resolved by surgery - usually goes away on its own eventually.
